Okay well itapos;s only noon, but i really wanted to quote Ice Cube.

this morning i woke up late, went upstairs and found that my mom had made a delicious scramble for breakfast, and she had left me a plate on the counter, with a glass of V8 with ice and a celery stalk in it. It was such a nice, simple yet fancy meal, and i enjoyed it thoroughly with some coffee with soy milk.

i also got a check in the mail from my credit card company, which makes me SO HAPPY i had sent in a claim for the travel laptop i bought that was stolen in Spain the very night i bought it, and before i even opened the envelope i was talking myself out of disappointment... Thinking that if they refused my claim i wouldnapos;t stop trying, that many insurance companies reject claims the first time or two they are filed, etc.

but instead i got a check, and a letter saying that they have processed my claim and are "pleased to enclose" my reimbursement check. I actually called their 800 number to get an email address for the lady who processed my claim, so i can email her and say thank you. Honestly, it was so traumatic when my stuff got stolen, and i had to jump through so many hoops to file this theft claim... It is so nice to actually get this check and have everything go smoothly.

and just as a word of advice- if you have anything stolen and you have bought it on a credit card within the last 30 to 45 days, chances are itapos;s insured you need to file a police report within 24 hours, so keep that in mind for future worst case scenarios, too.
