A day after setting a start date for service to Bogota, Colombia, JetBlue Airways announced this morning that it will launch daily flights between Orlando International Airport and Nassau, Bahamas, beginning Feb. 1.

The Bahamian destination -- a popular cruise port and home to the iconic Atlantis resort -- will become JetBlue's fourth international destination out of OIA, joining Bogota; Cancun, Mexico; and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Forest Hills, N.Y.-based airline also said it will add twice daily flights to Nassau from Fort Lauderdale.

JetBlue is picking up the Orlando-Nassau route after it was dropped earlier this year by Delta Air Lines. Bahamasair also flies between the two cities.
